Rating Summary
Minions and Monsters is a mundane, unfocused film that fails to sustain its initial premise. While it begins as a potentially clever satire of Hollywood, it devolves into a chaotic monster movie, relying on disjointed subplots and "Deus ex machina" resolutions rather than coherent plot development.

In the glitzy chaos of 1920s Hollywood, a group of ambitious Minions crashes the silent film scene, becomes unlikely movie stars, and decides to create their own monster movie. When they accidentally unleash real ancient monsters using a stolen spellbook, their wild success spirals into global mayhem. The tiny yellow troublemakers must then band together to save the planet from the creatures they set loose. Minions & Monsters follows their ridiculous journey from silver screen fame to worldwide disaster.
