Woke… again taking history and spinning it with a 2025 woke twist…. Just keep it real you can’t change history.

Woke, not worth it. After seeing trailers for the new season, and them touting a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, we thought we’d give it a try, starting at the beginning. Well, we only made it through 1 and a half episodes before turning it off. The first episode had us rolling our eyes at the obvious characterization of whites and especially Christians as evil, but we thought we could look past it. But the second episode doubled down on depicting disgusting and perverse abuses of Native Americans at the hands of nuns and priests in their prairie schools… It was too sick to watch, and an obvious stretch. I’m sure there was some bad treatment happening at that time, but there’s no way you can’t paint it with that wide of a brush. It’s all for ratings and pushing the envelope. No thanks.
