I feel bad for the three leads whose acting careers will forever be tarnished by what is no doubt going to a woketastrophe of epic proportions, and an abject failure. All they had to do was cast Adam Driver as Snape, and we’d probably be off to a much more promising start.

The “I’m Black Snape” rap video looks more entertaining.

I personally believe Chris Columbus’s Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets are already perfect as-is, especially combined with John William’s iconic film score. (I can’t fully say the same for later films with different directors). There is no need to update either unless the goal is strictly novelty.
I wouldn’t mind a low budget 1990s BBC serial edition of Harry Potter that would complement the low budget 1990s BBC serial edition of the Chronicles of Narnia, if that were still possible.
