"In the Grey" was directed by super-feminist sellout Guy Ritchie, so I knew what to expect.
Sure enough, GIRLBOSS sends her male team to recover a billion dollars from an island stronghold.
Boring and talky, had to check out after 35 minutes.

Um, my wife looked up the movie synopsis, and it details a lot of action scenes in warmer or tropical locations. Nowhere does it mention Antarctica, or a high-stakes rescue mission. I’m not sure where your description came from, but it wasn’t the DVD case for this movie. It sounds more like a remake of John Carpenter’s “The Thing”.
Yikes! Not sure what happened there. Good catch.
