Rating Summary
Jurassic World: Chaos Theory posits a return of dinosaurs to the world at large. However, the last time that the thunder lizards roamed the Earth was the Late Cretaceous Period, approximately 66 to 100 million years ago. This era was characterized by diverse ecosystems and the dominance of iconic dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, and Velociraptor. The climate was generally warm, and continents were still largely connected as the supercontinent Pangaea began to break apart. However, this period came to a catastrophic end with a mass extinction event, likely caused by a combination of volcanic activity, asteroid impact, and climate change (without a single SUV), leading to the demise of most dinosaur species and paving the way for the rise of mammals.
Jurassic World: Chaos Theory
Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is an animated science fiction action-adventure television series that serves as a direct sequel to Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. It takes place between Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World: Dominion and follows “The Nublar Six,” who reunite six years after the events of Camp Cretaceous to unravel a conspiracy threatening both dinosaurs and humankind.
