The Devil Wears Prada 2

The Devil Wears Prada is a safe, slightly sluggish follow-up that lacks the bite of the original, but longtime fans will probably enjoy revisiting the characters anyway.

Rating Summary
Fine performances, and Meryl Streeps ability to transform even the weakest material elevate a terrible script and by the numbers story. No doubt fans will find a lot to like, but it’s so much empty calories.

In The Devil Wears Prada, amongst the glittering, cutthroat world of New York high fashion, an ambitious but naive college graduate lands the most coveted—and nightmarish—job in the industry as assistant to the tyrannical editor-in-chief of a legendary magazine. Between impossible demands, razor-sharp wit, and soul-crushing pressure, she quickly learns that surviving may cost her everything she once valued.

But I was told go woke go broke. Yet this woke girlboss movie from Disney is a huge hit and on pace to make 700 million worldwide on just a 100 million budget. I was told America hated Meryl Streep because she dared to criticize God Emperor Trump.
