Thanks for the review. I will not be watching this garbage.
I’d rather disappointing in the silly conclusion to the movie. The actors are all first rate of course, including John Lithgow, Stanley Tucci, Ralph Finnes And Isabella Rossellini. These are all super performance and give tremendous portrayals in this film. The tension and the intrigue are first rate. but you can kind of see what it is going from an early stage. Our reviewer quite rightly points out that the only cardinal who is right is the Conservative) one and he is played as a vicious, nasty and cruel vindictive racist of the worst order who it is clear the directors want us to dislike not withstanding that he is the only one who is right. All the other Cardinals despite their flaws which become a parent throughout the movie, are painted as fine individuals in the end.
A very sad and poor ending for a great movie. It was rather like being presented with a fine meal at a restaurant only to find that it didn’t taste very good at all..
100% agree with everything in this review and comments.
I went to see this as I am a Christian and this looked like a breath of fresh air.
I enjoyed it until I realised it was Anti-Christian and that it had a woke agenda.
Wish I had this website to check before going to see this.
Please don’t waste your time on this or put money in the pockets of Anti-Christian ideologies.
This film actually drove me to seek out this website as it affected me that much.
Absolute woke garbage and the reason why I found this website in the first place. Strong bias against conservatism, mocking the Catholic Church and promoting diversity and transsexuality.
Better watch the Conclave of 2006…
This movie was an absolute waste of time. The plot was pretty tight and engaging until the last 15 minutes when it felt like the script suddenly changed hands to some woke brigade and characters suddenly started acting unbelievable and hollywood-esque. The ending turned the whole movie into a woke vehicle.
