”M.I.A.” on Peacock might be the most ridiculous female empowerment set-up ever! Teenage girl Etta wants to work in daddy’s Florida Keys drug smuggling business rather than go to college, because it’s “fun and exciting.” When she makes a mistake on her first night out, she ends up getting her whole family killed. From here, its a vengeance quest to execute the 12 cartel members responsible.

Peak girlboss garbage. Actually offensive. Not something even done well or halfway decent, like Ballerina from John Wick. That was actually pretty good. It didn’t shove it down your throat, and actually provided some decent action. This is just gross.
