This time, the Dark Knight isn’t just throwing punches—he’s unraveling a web of corruption that runs through the city’s political elite, all while chasing down the Riddler (Paul Dano), a deranged serial killer with a social media following and a knack for cryptic chaos. With reluctant allies like Selina Kyle (Zoë Kravitz) and James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright), Batman dives deep into Gotham’s filth to stop the Riddler’s twisted endgame and uncover some uncomfortable truths about his own family.

An ok ‘griity, realistic’ take on Batman.
Gotham almost looks like a post-apocalyptic city ala Blade Runner.
Robert Pattinson is better than expected as the eponymous character.
    Woke elements:
The black woman mayoral candidate felt shoehorned in by current DEI offices within the film studios these days.
    As did the black Catwoman.
Her ‘white privilege’ line deep into the film was so bad, it took me completely out of the movie at that point.
Whoever put that ridiculous line in the script shoud be fired.

Was super pumped about this movie before it came out. Then the first time I saw it I was heavily disappointed. And the more I rewatched it, the more I hate it. They tried for a more realistic modern version and came up with an episode of NCIS. First of all Robbie P looks like a cancer patient for no reasoning at all. 150lb unarmed batman takes on 8 thugs. Ya ok. The soundtrack and music was great tho. They had a great opportunity to really make him a dark, tormented, and violent batman but folded. His dialogue was cringy. And the scene where catwoman talks about white privileged made me wanna gouge my eyes out.
