    So far so good. Only two episodes though. Holding out hope this is a return to form for Sheridan.

      He only has a producer credit on this one, rather than creator. I wonder if that will work in its favor, or not.

    I have not seen this yet so I am curious about Annette Benning’s
    character. While it is good the villain isn’t some rich guy or a white supremacist (so overdone) I usually don’t find female villains to be realistic. Is that her role here?

    Annette Bening is not quite the villain yet, just another “tough matriarch” avatar. Story is taking a while to develop, so we don’t really know who the villain is, aside from one murderous alcoholic white man.

    There are too many, ‘gotchas’, too much weak story telling, contrived action to advance the plot.
    The characters are still highly addictive, the actors are carrying this show.
